Does Accountability Matter in Higher Education?
The Office of the Chancellor's Diversity and Equity division presented the diversity brown bag, "Does Accountability Matter in Higher Education," featuring Dr. John G. Asmussen based upon his doctoral dissertation.
Dr. Asmussen will discuss: Why does the graduation rate productivity of U.S. public universities vary? This relates to intolerance because the United Nations has identified education as the most effective means for preventing intolerance in its Declaration of Principles of Tolerance.

Diversity Common Book Discussion and Webinar

The Office of the Chancellor's Diversity and Equity division presented a diversity common book discussion of, "Love Medicine," by Louise Erdrich, award-winning American Indian writer. All employees of the Office of the Chancellor are invited to join in this activity, and even if you have not read the book. The discussion will feature a brief lecture from Dr. Pauline Danforth, community faculty member at Metropolitan State University. There will also be guided small group discussions.
